There are many smart customization options available to you. You will find it very easy to achieve the look and functionality which takes days to achieve in other themes.
Here is one example: when creating our BuildPress we used premium plugin Essential Grid to for the grid of projects on the front page. Ess. Grid is powerful, but it also adds lots of overhead and it takes time to get your head around it. We’ve seen people having great trouble using it. So in StructurePress we decided to build our simplified projects grid, so Portfolio Grid Widget was born. Take a look at the screenshot from wp-admin how easy it is to set it up. It will take 1 minute instead of hours or days compared to more complicated plugins:
The beauty part is that if you are already familiar with Essential Grid or you need more fine-grained control, you can still use it if you want to. StructurePress will work with any decent WP plugin nicely.
